Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle was cool. Kind of the Disneyland of English castles.

Mason takes aim. He did great. I think he really surprised the guys who were running the archery booth.

This guy wanted our lunch real bad.

So did the peacocks!

Stroud and Warwick Castle

We spent one afternoon in Stroud at their market. It was wonderful. Such a charming town.

Warwick Castle landscaping

The stockade!

We had a blast at the Warwick Castle Wax Museum.

Thornbury & Sheiling School

My three wonderful kids.

Church graveyard at St. Mary's

Main Street in Thornbury

Can you see the wind chimes?

Sheiling School

Biodynamic gardening at its best.

This building is the second oldest building in Thornbury. It's part of the Sheiling School.

I love this photo of my father. Such joy in it.

Sheiling School

There were sheep everywhere in the UK. These are the residents of the Sheiling School.

This little guy was rejected at birth by his mom. He was very friendly.

The garden at Sheiling is really beautiful.

More Thornbury Castle

Just being Noah. Austin Powers impersonation?

Cousins reunited.

St. Mary's is the oldest building in Thornbury. It's right next to Ilaria's school

She has a castle in her back yard. Thornbury Castle. One that Henry VIII and Anne Boelyn would retreat to during plagues.

Ilaria's Home Away From Home--Thornbury

Superstar!

Cheerful, funny dad.

Off we go for a walk in Thornbury.

Such a charming place.

CARLISLE ENGLAND

We never got the name of this church. One of many we saw while in the UK

Coffee in Carlisle. Right after this we all got separated in a down pour. Two hours later I was sobbing after I saw my kids again. We had two cell phones and my dad had both of them for some reason! Serious meltdown.

Carlisle Castle cannon.

Me and Masie

These two were so happy to be reunited.

Love this shot.

This was cool. It's in the tunnel from the castle into the town of Carlisle.

Carlisle Castle. This is the northern, dismal, castle that Elizabeth imprisoned Mary Queen of Scots. It's really far from London in a cold part of the country. She would have been miserable.

Me! Seriously BAD hair day.

Down they go!

Up they come!

The "licking stones" at Carlisle Castle. Prisoners would lick the condensation off the walls because they were so dehydrated.
